Famous pilgrimage site crowned by a majestic Renaissance Basilica, built to enshrine the Holy House of Mary. The view from the sanctuary terrace across the Conero hills is worth the trip alone. For a special meal: Andreina, a one-Michelin-star restaurant where everything is cooked on an open fire. And one of our own favourites: Casa Bruscoli in Loreto Stazione, a small, warm Sicilian–Marche family restaurant, homemade pasta, legendary cannoli, dinner only (closed Tuesdays).
