Potenza Picena
Our hilltop town, with Teatro Bruno Mugellini, the old church of San Francesco, and a handful of cafés. Walkable, quiet, and a good place for an early-evening passeggiata.
- Le Scalette, a simple osteria close to home. Al fresco dining on the piazza in summer, with views of the Adriatic Sea and Monte Conero.
- Osteria del Vicolo, a slightly more refined spot, Slow Food–recommended, on Viale Cesare Battisti 1. Nice local dishes.
- Marchigiano Reggiano, on Piazza Matteotti. Good for aperitivo or dinner with a tagliere.
- Groove Beer Bar, a pub at the Belvedere with great sunset views, excellent at night. Occasionally live music.
Pizza:
- La Cipolla d’Oro, wood-fired pizza and Marche cooking in a restored farmhouse in Contrada San Girio.
- Pizzeria Diego, both a sit-down restaurant and takeaway, on the Circonvallazione Le Grazie in Potenza Picena. Good everyday option, friendly.
- Takeaway to bring back to the agriturismo: Pizzeria Diego (above) or Hotel Torresi on Contrada Strada Regina. Both five minutes away, ready in 15–20 minutes if you call ahead.
