How we try to do things

We aim for a way of living that is simple, natural, and respectful of the land.

• 100% renewable energy, solar panels, battery storage, heat pump
• EV charger available. Ask us if you would like to use it
• Ingredients from our own garden, orchard, chickens and bees, plus organic produce from local suppliers we know
• Tencel duvets, organic cotton linens and towels, natural cleaning products, eco-certified toiletries and toilet paper
• Filtered tap water or mineral / sparkling water downstairs. Please refill your bottles here rather than buying new ones
• Food scraps composted back into the garden; packaging kept to a minimum
• Organic, regenerative farming to protect the soil, hold water, and encourage wildlife

Part of what we earn goes back into the land, every year we plant more trees, shrubs, and flowers to add to the biodiversity here. You help us by reusing towels, being mindful with energy and water, and enjoying food from the farm. Thank you for being part of it.
