Montelupone

A Borgo più bello d’Italia: medieval walls, panoramic tower, Romanesque abbey, and the small Teatro Nicola degli Angeli on the main piazza. Montelupone is Città del Miele, renowned for its honey. Stop at Caffè del Teatro on the piazza and try their honey gelato (or the local artichoke, a Slow Food presidium).
